Trauma Therapy

Stressful and traumatic experiences can leave us lost, confused, and in a state of chronic overwhelm. It can feel like life has shattered you. As a trauma-informed therapist, I can help you pick up the pieces and move forward. Healing is a process, and I provide a compassionate and gentle space to open up in your own time. I give you the tools to understand how traumatic life experiences may have impacted your self-esteem, altered your view of the world, shaped negative thought patterns, and/or disrupted the health of your nervous system. Using a mindfulness-based approach I help you learn to slow down, increase your self-compassion, and cultivate relaxation and coping skills. You are not broken. You are powerful and capable of transformation.
