About

Ambrosia has a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Concentration in Transpersonal Art Therapy.  She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of FL and a Registered Art Therapist (ATR).

I am a deeply compassionate human who will not only listen but will also challenge you to dive deep to find new levels of self-awareness and empowerment. I synthesize a combination of various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, existential therapy, transpersonal therapy, art therapy, and person-centered therapy.

I work with children, teens, and adults and am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, co-dependency, self-esteem issues and more. I also have specialized experience in death/grief and spent time in hospice working with people in the process of dying and their loved ones.

I have unique training in mindfulness and transpersonal psychology (the study of integrating spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience into therapy). I am adept in integrating breathwork, mindfulness techniques, and guided visualizations into sessions. Operating from a perspective of mind-body-spirit, I see people in their wholeness.

I invite clients of all ages. I help children to open up through play and art, support teenagers through developing a genuine bond/rapport, and reach great depths with my adult clients. All who work with me feel deeply appreciated, accepted, and supported. No pain or trauma is too deep to be healed. You are powerful and transformation awaits.
